The poster commemorates the anniversary of the death of Columbian priest and guerrilla soldier Camilo Torres, who was killed in combat in on February 15th 1966. This poster reproduces a quote from a speech made by Cuban leader Fidel Castro on the 28th September 1973, seventeen days after the coup in Chile which replaced the government of Salvador Allende with a military junta headed by General Augustus Pinochet.
